Pre 12th Century Experience
Key personnel at the Wall Paintings Workshop have had experience working on internationally important conservation projects including Byzantine mosaics in Istanbul and ancient Egyptian wall paintings in Luxor
International collaborative projects have included the stabilisation and conservation of deteriorated areas of the 6th century golden glass mosaics in the dome of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey. Projects also include collaborations with other conservators on a project for the University of Brussels (ULB). Conservators work closely with archaeologists and Egyptologists to conserve 3500 year-old wall paintings in the tomb of Sennefer.
